There’s no question that the headphones market is saturated on every price level: entry, mid-range and high-end. What seems like an infinite stream of brands and models can quickly confuse a customer who just wants a piece of good headphones. Bose QuietComfort 35 sits somewhere between the mid and high-ranges and promises a nifty seat of features, but the jury’s still out on whether they are all really useful.

Don’t complain about missing alarms with these headphones

Bose QuietComfort 35 quickly stands out from its competition with one perk: noise cancellation. Sure, plenty of headphones swear that they’ll cancel out the surrounding noise, but very few actually provide the kind of isolation needed to continue listening to music in louder environments.

With its heavy focus on eliminating noise from your environment, Bose QuietComfort isn’t one of them, which is a definitive plus. These headphones also try to deliver comfort, but you could make the argument that they go about it the wrong way – whether wireless headphones are really better over corded ones depends on the user, but we’re leaning towards sets that don’t force us to worry about charging them. Interestingly enough, even using a wire with these headphones will only give you 40 hours of playing time, meaning you’ll have to get stuck with charging them eventually.

The Bose QuietComfort 35 price of $300 on Amazon is steep, especially when taking into account that a pair of similar BÖHM Bluetooth headphones will cost you around $90. Still, the user feedback is decent, and if you don’t mind parting with some extra cash, these wireless headphones might prove to be a great choice for those who find themselves in a lot of noisy environments.
